Locked behind a range of impenetrable mountains created by the disaster, the tiny kingdom grew and thrived for two centuries, until it was poised at the threshold of a shining golden age... but it was not to be. That promised golden age died a stillborn death, bathed in a night of blood that echoed faintly of the founding days of the Kingdom.

The royal family was assassinated, slain to the last, and there was no heir to lead the Kingdom.
